Pixel Mafia is looking for an exceptional concept artist and leader to join our team in creating epic designs for Games and Films. A solid grasp of foundational art skills, color theory, human and creature anatomy, and design theory are essential. QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of professional experience
Worked on and shipped at least 1 AAA game title
High Quality portfolio of gamedev-relevant art
Excellent knowledge of 3D Software Packages and Photoshop
Good English communication and writing skills
Be proactive and self-motivated, can work without direct supervision
Excellent time and priority management skills

RESPONSIBILTIES

Work closely with the Concept Art Team and Art Director to create industry leading quality concepts and can specialize in either (Environment, Characters, Weapons or Props)
Creates unique design ideas and consistent quality of art
Able to adapt to different styles of artwork (realistic, stylized, etc.)
Iterate on ideas quickly through sketches and thumbnails
Creates concepts for day to day production of in-game art assets
Communicate visual ideas across teams and departments
Strong focus on character designs and deep understanding of human anatomy
Ability to create concept drawing based on written or verbal art direction
Strong sense of design and composition and a good eye for detail, materials, and scale
Mentor junior concept artists by providing regular review and feedback in a clear and constructive manner
