The publisher fully integrated Pixel Mafia into its internal pipeline, giving the studio a level of integration and access rarely afforded to partners. The set-up is testament to Pixel Mafia’s expertise and cred.
The Coalition relied on Pixel Mafia to create buildings, environments, and props, which the studio produced using the publisher’s customized version of Unreal Engine 4.
Most of the studio’s output was used as the visual slice, or proofs of concept. These assets established the look and standards for other teams to follow.
Pixel Mafia’s integration into the production pipeline gave the studio the opportunity to make creative decisions, and provide solutions when needed.
